I'm playing some more Fracture, just to see if I can find the rest of the datacores.

edit: On an unrelated but interesting note, apparently Google ads now connects the terms 'brandon', 'brandonabley', and 'Wilfred the Hero' with the advertising catagory of 'gay dating'. Meaning, the only ads I see at the top of this page are for meeting sexy gay singles at matchmaking sites.

RTP Package
When using rm2k3, it should be inside the folder of the actual project. If there is not one, try actually playing the game from the RPG_RT.exe rather than in testplay mode from the editor; it probably will create one.

Before you decide on an engine to make such a game in, you should consider what will have more precedence in a game and what will be more difficult and time consuming to develop, the RPG elements or the platforming elements.
Basically is it going to be more of a combat platformer with RPG elements like a strength stat for damage calculation mixed in, or is it going to be completely focused on complex formulas and numbers and magicks with the 2D platforming just being the way you get around the world?
I would really suggest using something different than rm2k3 because any sort of platformer element in it will probably be buggy and laggy, as well as a pain to create.
